I was having trouble getting my daughter to eat some green vegetables. So I came up with this recipe. My 3 year old and 15 month old both slurp this up. They have no idea how nutritious it is!
2-3 tblsp. frozen organic spinach
1 very ripe banana (for added sweetness)
1/4 cup frozen organic strawberries
1/4 cup frozen organic blueberries
about 1 cup whole milk or soy milk (You can vary this based on preferred thickness)
Dump all ingredients in blender. Blend. Very easy. You can also get popsicle molds or dixie cups and freeze this mixture to make yummy popsicles!

HomeMade Baby®

For busy parents, who may not have time to steam and puree. I found another maker of organic refrigerated baby foods. These refrigerated options are healthier than the organic jars because they are not heated to extreme temperatures to keep them safe on shelves. They are prepared, packaged refrigerated and sent to stores. The colors are amazing and the flavors... delicious.
